Castles has three (3) dial-up Internet access systems.
California enhanced dial-up is standard 56k v.92 providing service throughout California.
Crossbow Accelerated dial-up using SlipStream accelerator servicing the majority of California.
Nationwide standard 56k v.92 providing service throughout the United States with some connection in Hawaii and border countries.

Crossbow Accelerated Numbers

Castles Crossbow service uses the Slipstream Data accelerator program. The program is downloaded onto your computer and you dial into a special modem pool. The modem pool uses the SlipStream system to compress both email and web pages being transmitted to your computer over a dial-up line. This compression accelerates the delivery of the data by up to 7 times. The software on your computer quickly decompresses the data providing you with quick Internet access.

ATTENTION DSL CUSTOMERS
When signing up for any VoIP Service
DO NOT transfer your phone number that carries your DSL service.
Doing so automatically ports your number to the VoIP carrier and you will lose your DSL.
